Today we feature Brooke Neilio from Mullica Hill, NJ (Gloucester County), who attends Clearview Regional High School. Brooke will be studying Inclusive Elementary Education on campus.

Welcome to Rowan! Could you share with us one thing you are looking forward in college?

I am looking forward to meeting new people and exploring all of the opportunities Rowan has to offer.

What is one hobby, activity, sport or club you were a part of in high school that you’d like to continue in college?

Sled Hockey.

Is there anything you’re hoping to discover about yourself in college?

I would like to become more involved in social and community activities to discover more interests. I would also love to start a sled hockey team at Rowan.

What majors are you considering and why?

Inclusive Elementary Education program because I want to be able to help kids who struggle with learning disabilities.

Did you tour Rowan or attend any virtual events?

I took a tour of Rowan and loved the campus. I also attended the College Prep Transition events and found them very helpful.

Do you have advice for other high school seniors who haven’t committed to a school yet?

Look closely at what the college has to offer both academically and personally to make sure it is a good fit.

What is one thing about Rowan itself that you liked?

Rowan looks at each student individually and offers programs to help make sure they will succeed.

 Like what you see?
