Meet #Rowan2025: Uche Ezeukwu of Hamilton, NJ

A sign that says Wake up and Workout.

Today we welcome incoming first year student Uche Ezeukwu. Uche will live on campus in the fall studying Exercise Science. Uche is from Hamilton, NJ (Mercer County) and attends Nottingham High School.

Welcome to Rowan! Could you share with us one thing you are looking forward in college?

I am looking forward to meeting new people while being able to expand and grow my passion with the quality educational opportunities Rowan has to offer!

What is one hobby, activity, sport or club you were a part of in high school that you’d like to continue in college?

I am a track and field athlete now. So in college, I would like to continue to stay active and workout like I usually do.

Is there anything you’re hoping to discover about yourself in college?

Although I may say I am somewhat independent, I would like to be more independent in college. I think independence will be an important skill to have in college and after because I will begin to pave my ambitious journey.

What majors are you considering and why?

I will be majoring in Exercise Science to help prepare me to possibly obtain a doctorate degree in a healthcare profession.

Did you tour Rowan?

Yes, I toured Rowan and the campus is so vibrant! After touring, I knew that Rowan is where I’d commit.

Do you have advice for other high school seniors who haven’t committed to a school yet?

Make sure to follow your heart and you’ll definitely find the best fit for you.

What is one thing about Rowan itself that you liked?

I liked how Rowan is a suburban campus but still gives off city vibes, especially on Rowan Boulevard.

Like what you see?
