“This major combined my two biggest passions: sports and cameras. I’ve always been a huge sports fan, and I’ve always known I wanted to work in sports. During high school I knew I wanted to work around cameras doing photo/videography. So, when I found out about Sports CAM at Rowan, it was the perfect match.” – Joey Nicolo, junior, transfer and first-generation college student, Sports Communication and Media major from Sicklerville, NJ (Gloucester County)

“I became interested in my major because it fulfills my desire for sports. My dream is to be associated with the NFL, NBA or both. Taking news, broadcasting and general sports classes piques my interests.” – Larry Diehlman, sophomore double major in Sports Communication and Media and Journalism from Mantua, NJ (Gloucester County)
